- Barcode labels done for you. On orders of 20 or more cartridges we can supply pre-printed labels in the right sequence for your library. Just tell us the library model and starting number.
- Library packs. Twenty cartridges in one case with no individual wrapping, so bulk loading is quicker and there is less packaging waste.
- Advice on compatibility. LTO-9 and LTO-10 changed the compatibility rules. We check your drives before you order so you get tapes that work.
- Lifetime warranty against defects. Faulty LTO media is replaced by the manufacturer.
Is there one LTO tape brand that’s better than the others?
All LTO cartridges are built to the same specification and certified by the LTO Program, so any licensed brand works in any drive of the same generation. In practice, only a handful of factories coat LTO tape, and the brands you buy share a lot of that manufacturing.
Some library vendors ask you to use their own branded media, or media with a particular barcode label format, to stay within support. We check this for you when you order.
Buying in bulk or on contract
We supply universities, broadcasters, NHS trusts, local authorities and managed service providers with scheduled media deliveries. If you rotate tapes offsite or buy against a framework, tell us your volumes and we will set up pricing and a delivery schedule that suits you.
